The early 2000s dotcom crash transformed downtown San Jose, CA from a burgeoning shopping district to vacant storefronts. In collaboration with Phantom Galleries / Anno Domini, we accessed eight vacant storefronts on 1st Street to create a networked exhibition about surveillance. Keyhole was one of these installations and explored the roles of surveillance by making the viewer both the surveiller, and the subject being surveilled.
